The Keith B. Mather papers include the typescript of his diary and photos from his cosmic ray expedition in the Himalayas in 1951; a daily log from his field work during the International Geophysical Year in Australia; his manuscript on the history of the Geophysical Institute along with a compilation of memoirs of the GI from others; and a document he wrote with Anna Schilling titled "Initiation, Evolution, and Production of Annual Reports on Research at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks" which describes the history of systematic reporting on research at the University.
